Summary: Amazing stay. Lounge area on arrival is like a living room at home. Was in Cottage room, fabulous real fire in room, comfy bed, spotless, great shower! Breakfast was tasty, hot, served with pride. Loved it all

Summary: The room was wonderful, fire place, jetted tub, large patio, and 6 pillows! It was hands down one of the nicest places my husband and I stayed. Breakfast was also great, but that was expected due to all the positive reviews we had read. Unfortunately I think my husband and I got sick from the room we stayed in. We arrived on Sunday, by Wednesday we were both having flu symptoms... mind you, we found a box of Kleenex that had been used by the previous occupants, That should have probably foreshadowed what was to come. sick

Summary: Angela was so kind and welcoming. This inn felt like home. The breakfast was delicious and made to order each morning. We were about a twenty minute walk from the center of Newport. It was far enough away that everything was so quiet. We commented several times that we could not hear anyone in the other rooms coming and going. The common sitting area outside of the dining room was very peaceful. There are afternoon cocktails, and treats served in this room. The smell of fresh baked goods coming from the kitchen is always present. It is easy to see why this inn has won so many awards. I would say the only downside for this inn is if you have any difficulties with stairs, you should book a room on the ground floor. I did not expect our room to be on the 2nd floor and I found it a little difficult getting up and down the outside stairs to the second floor. You cannot go wrong here. We will be back.
